This Is About My Personal Struggles To Becoming An Online Success, I hope that you enjoy it and maybe it inspires you to keep following your dreams of a better and more free future!

I can tell you though right off the bat that I have had my struggles and desperate times whilst trying to find what I considered to be a calling in life but it was worth it in the end!

 

With all of the lessons I learned this helped to create what I am today, so my experience, education and past serve me and my students now.

 

 

 

 

Today – I am a happier and more fulfilled Man because I never gave up on what I believed in.  And I think that is important.  If we don’t fight for what we believe in then what is the point in life?  I don’t think there is much to think about, we either follow our truth or we don’t.  It’s just many never really find what can be true to them.

And I can say that without those lessons how would I have got to be here writing this and helping others?

 

But, that’s me. My story is in my books, however – we all have our own stories.  What are yours? 

 

 

NOTE: Did you notice that I mentioned YOU! I learned that I WAS THE ANSWER TO CHANGE NOT A PRODUCT OR SERVICE.  Many People Buy things in the hope that those things will magically change their lives.  But it is you and I that determines this.  And this IS where massive change and success happens – WITH YOU!

After dropping out of College and being into drugs and raves I ended up going from job to job in my twenties and before i knew it I was 30 years old.

I had no self respect – so I took any job I could find back then.

It was tough for me and my girlfriend when I was NOT HAPPY in my jobs and stressed because this stuff affects relationships also.

Now, we both just wanted to be together and work together but we simply didn’t know how.

So for many years I went from one job to another until ONE DAY I found A WAY to be my own boss and this was after many times at failing to find ways to WORK FROM HOME.  I started a business, and it grew and I sold it.  I knew then that I could run a business.  So, I took my skills online.  I also wanted to serve others who had been through similar things to me as I knew what it was like to suffer and struggle, so I studied Life Coaching, NLP and Business Coaching.

After a few months I had built a brand around me.  I knew that I had to grow my own business and that’s where it all started.

This is down to the fact that I Just Knew that there HAD TO BE something better!

 

Back in the early days I discovered a Network Marketing Business model which I loved but I just didn’t LOVE THE PRODUCTS i ever shared!  Plus I knew that these none of these businesses were my own.   And – something i learned early on was – IF THE BUSINESS GOES YOU GO!

In other words we should never ever put all of our eggs into one basket.  If I didn’t own the platform then I wasn’t interested.  Make sense?

I was also in my early day a member of Herballife for a while as I was into Health and Fitness BUT, I seemed to take MORE PRODUCTS THAN I SOLD! It wasn’t really for me to be honest as it was very pushy I thought.

 

How I Left My Job: If I Was Going To Have My Garage FULL OF SOMETHING, I HAD TO LOVE THAT SOMETHING!

 

 

 

So, as I couldn’t find a passion for anything I had been involved with that’s why I started building my own products.

I had some idea about building a business offline as I had done it and sold it for profit, but how was I going to build an online business?  And what would I be doing exactly?

But before all of this happened I went through that phase many go through of looking at a million different opportunities.

As I filtered through THE HYPE AND CRAP it was tough.

But after spending over £50k on my business education I was then ready to stick with ONE THING!  And that was my own brand. What i knew was that I could build a Coaching Business, write books, blog, create courses, podcast and even promote other peoples products/services as an affiliate and that is still what I do to this day.

I CHOOSE what to promote and I can change anything that I no longer wish to promote.  In fact – I ONLY promote what I use. So if its tech based tools, or programs I have used and rate then I will share those things.

I built one thing very well.  And I can suggest that you do so also.

 

So lets be clear.  I started with ZERO!  I started selling things around my home on eBay.  I then started selling other things there in order to pay for my education and training. After I had sold a cleaning business several years before there was nothing left of that money.  So i started over.  But – right now there is way more out there to use and take from.  Everything we could need is there BUT – I hired 3 separate coaches who all helped me to go from ZERO to well over 5 figures per month as a Coach within 2 years.

Once I knew how to raise my prices and become premium then I could double that and even triple it.  The point is that I learned from experienced experts in the areas I needed help with.  The reason why 80% of businesses fail is because those NEW to business have no experience to draw from and start wrong.    Then they wonder why they started and quit.  Its actually pretty simple;  don’t think you know it all just because you have a great idea. No-one may want that idea, so get help determining this FIRST. 

 

BUT – MAN I WANTED TO QUIT MANY TIMES!

I never borrowed money from anyone.  I sold on eBay to build my online business to start my word press blog.   So, you may need to borrow money to fund your idea, or you may need to hire a financial expert and use a seasoned investor, but the beauty with what I do is that you can start for a fairly low cost.  This is something you may want to consider.  What products or services will you sell? Why?

Success didn’t happen for me right away as many like to think, in fact I SUCKED AT what I was doing for a while!

But I started to focus on my core strengths from my passions, skills, experiences, talents etc and outsourced the rest.

But then as I built my business I could start to travel with it.  This is in Spain at the Picos De Europa Mountain Range.

I love Spain and toured all over.  That’s one trip but I also have traveled the world with my laptop.

This is not some ‘look at me’ type of post at all, it is YOU can create your life your way also type of post.

I believe in my heart that we can design our lives and I have done just that.

 

 

Truth about success

It takes time or it isn’t great and worthy success in my opinion.

And true success comes with many obstacles and challenges, some of which really TEST YOU, but it is when you are tested AND REFUSE TO QUIT THAT NO MATTER HOW HARD THE PATH seems to get – you carry on anyway.

After a long hard struggle in those early years I found The RIGHT MENTORS and experts to work with!

This is when changes happened in me!

You see, when you think you know it all, you are beat down. You have to keep learning, growing, and being a student of your craft.

 

Growing my Brand

I started building my own brand and then people began coming to me instead of me chasing business being all desperate.

This is where the dynamic had changed for me.

Ever since I have built my own brand – I have been very successful in what I do and this is because ‘I am not so desperate’ for sales but rather I am CLEAR WITH MY MESSAGE.  And when you get clear you see the results.

 

So my advice to you now would be GET YOUR MESSAGE CLEAR. I can help you with discovering this.

We have all got our story to tell.  Our trials and tribulations and money lost and gained is all good to listen to, BUT what matters is that we are willing TO LEARN AND IMPROVE.  To learn from what you have done both good and bad and to take what you can do now, in order to design that life ON YOUR TERMS!

 

SOME TIPS WHICH CHANGED MY BUSINESS:

 

Start using video ASAP 

Have a cash reserve so that if anything goes wrong you have help

Delight customers more than others do in your niche

Know your numbers back to front and inside out this includes all expenses, projected revenue, and measuring growth

Always use the best tools don’t scrimp 

Make buying easy for customers they don’t need further complication in life

Have a specific solid message and tagline don’t by shy about sharing it

Disrupt an area if you need to or innovate something 

Watch the markets and be ahead of the curve 

Be a market leader and a modern leader who cares

Use Facebook, Instagram lives, and any other tools to leverage your brand

Stay in the game don’t sidetrack

Read about your craft and anything which can help you for at least 30 minutes per day

Be prepared to change ad for change be open and flexible mentally

I always say that once you know in your heart that something is right within you, then follow it.

Sure – there will be tons of mistakes and many testing challenges (as I have said) ‘BUT’ you WILL GET THERE! i did!

 

I read 3 books per week, I work on myself every day, I read the business news, I study experts, I listen to great podcasts and on and on.  In other words I never stop getting better.  And that’s why my income streams steadily increased.  I refused to be second best in anything.

But, this is not important just yet.  What is important is that YOU explore deeply into your passions, experiences, talents, abilities, skills, education, what others say you are great at, where people complain, and with innovation.  Start to get down ideas and you will eventually start to narrow it all down.  If you choose to work at home as an expert consultant or Coach like me you will of course need a laptop device, Skype or zoom, CRM software, sales pages, a website, good content, Social media presence, a Mission, vision, ethics, a small team, fast Internet connection,  A microphone, and a good quiet work space.

So, you can start a Plan and strategy which covers everything I have spoken of.

When you create it you will need to know what your income goal is and why.  You will need to know all your numbers. You will need to know how you will deliver immense value.  You will need to know how to be the best in your market.  You will need to get help from experts such as experienced investors, an accountant and any other experts who need hiring to enable you to start strong.  But also to start with as low costs as you can.  The more you do upfront to start right the lower the risk involved.  And finally not forgetting that you need the right tools. Period!  Don’t cut costs with the vital areas.
