Does Following Your Passion seem all too good to be true to you?

I am sure that it can feel this is impossible and I guess living like this is very rare, but Why?

Very simply because many people believe that DOING WHAT YOU LOVE AND GETTING PAID FOR IT IS A MYTH!

So, if there is this idea that it is not real then FOR MANY IT NEVER WILL BE. This is the first and biggest obstacle by far that people encounter when understanding and grasping the concept of living a life of passion.

Sure, not all roles and businesses work out, and they are not always sustainable nor do they always grow, and especially if the work hasn’t been put in, so I will talk about what that means.

The fact of the matter is that with more increased awareness in the world constantly IMPROVING MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ARE creating EXTRAORDINARY LIVES and so you too can perhaps look at your choices and decisions in greater depth and even determine where you may be able to create and carve out a role which you can love every day. 

How have I done this?

I wasted many years trying many things, I got better, and I eventually stopped building other people’s businesses and built my own.  Then I built another and once I knew how to build businesses I then looked at what I would love to do the most.

I didn’t want to just ‘run a business’ as I knew that simply doing wasn’t enough.  I didn’t want to just make money in any area; so I started to ask better questions, look deeper within and get to the core of what i could do and enjoy doing moreover.

Here’s what I did:

Looked at all my passions, ideas, skills, talents, abilities, experience and I also asked others what they thought my strengths were. I also took personality tests read a few books, and started to define a role I could enjoy.

After several months I could see that helping others had to be at the top.  So I studied to become a Life and Business Coach.  I also deeply studied Business development, startups, entrepreneurship, and all areas of life design and business design.  I decided then to build this blog, write a book, and create courses and websites and other products and services which all came under my umbrella brand.

So, you see firstly I had to define WHAT I wanted and WHY.

That is why I wrote the book you saw above.  I connected deeply within to better understand myself, from a place of non limitation and exploration I tapped into passions and designed a purpose driven role from them.

How Have I Created An Extraordinary life?

It depends on what you call extraordinary first of all because, I am an ordinary guy, in fact i was a college drop out, and I was going from dead end job to dead end job, and getting into drugs.  By the time I was 30 i was so depressed, anxious, lost, frustrated, desperate and confused that I thought my life was over.  So, for me to create this life I feel as though it is an extraordinary feat based on what my life looked like on paper.

Now I have cleared that up – what could an extraordinary life look like to you?

Whatever that may be, it takes a lot of hard work, and the kind of work where it can be pretty darned thankless at times because, you may not see immediate progress, and there will be many times when challenges will arise and failures can happen, so it really depends deep down IF you have what it takes to really keep on towards your goals.

In basic terms I have worked very hard and focused my energy on what I believe in. The real secret to my own growth comes from applying what I mentioned above and by consistent and continual action.  Working hard to get what I wanted and doing so in a strategic and specific way was what changed everything for me.

So, in a sense there is no real secret to following your passion – except to KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO FOCUS ON AND TO TAKE ACTION.

The major issue that many find is that:

1. They have too many passions and ideas so they don’t know what to focus on
2. They start a business without knowing ‘who’ they are going to sell to or ‘why’
3. They try and do it alone which ends in almost certain disaster

So, around 80% of Small businesses fail within the first 5 years because they start wrong.  But they also run the business in the wrong ways.  They don’t develop and make progress as they get stuck with being busy and not doing what is of the utmost importance.  The key is in matching a market need or demand to our passions or ideas. Then we can see if it will work or not.  With thorough research we then can decide whether to take the next step.

A true leader in any business is responsible for the entire operation and how that works.

So, we must be able to be responsible and accountable.

Now, the book I wrote is really just about the beginning stages of discovery with finding something worthy of YOU and also a way to bring your unique values and worth to the world.

It might be that you have an idea and you know what you wish to deliver, but you just need the right team! 

It might be that you know the role you wish to be in, but you don’t know how best to express that!

It might be that you are already in a role you love and yet others are not so, it makes your role several roles trying to manage others and deal with their issues more than focusing on what you wish to do most! 

It might be that you have no experience yet as a leader or founder and so with an employment mentality you are perhaps not yet cut our for running and operating a business! 

How I Created A Dream Business

The great news is that ‘even if’ you have failed so far to create a life of Following Your Passion and by YOUR MAKING, it is never too late, and on top of that, I have been there so I know what it is like.

So  i wrote a book which can help you to get defined around what you may wish to do and shape a role in order to follow thee right path for you.

Even better than that my book is FREE for you.  I wanted to create something which ANYONE access and EVERYONE can take something from ‘if’ they are in this situation.

I built a business personally which meant that I could work from anywhere and anytime as that was on my list of desires, and so I have been able to travel the world as I write an teach others.  It may seem like a far away dream to you but it doesn’t need to be.

One of the primary reasons why it works for me is that I am a normal guy who is very transparent and I also GIVE ALL OF MYSELF to working with clients.  Simply I want to see progress in the lives of others.

But I was never a sales guy!

I sold stuff that others wanted sure, but I was never one of those persuasive types as I hated that.

The truth is I always HATED SELLING, but when you know that ‘what you offer’ will enrich another’s life, and change their future forever, then it is way easier to sell.  So, my advice there is – ensure you create what is worthy of you through the right products and services, and when you do so you create loyal buyers, repeat custom, referrals and of course growth.

The truth is:

I don't see myself as 
a 'sales guy' i see 
myself as a guy who shares.

I share what I believe can help another and it has a way different feel to some desperate sales guy.

If you already know what I do, you will also know that I GIVE A LOT OF VALUE FOR FREE and this is because I SIMPLY LOVE TO.  

So I decided to make my purpose serving others and changing lives by delivering value driven products.

I also I believe that ‘what I do’ is something BIGGER THAN ME!  This isn’t a religious thing by the way, it is the fact that ‘I’ believe that have a duty to serve many.   So, it is bigger than me alone.

What I really love to do the most is help others find those areas where they could love what they do whilst they CAPITALIZE from it.  Is it that complicated?  I don’t think so.  But I do think that many people make this stuff way too complicated.  But when we know what we want and why it really changes everything.

How I Created A Dream Business

Isn’t there is too much overwhelm and hype these days?

Everyone is desperate for wealth, success, happiness and other great trappings that they CONTINUALLY FAIL in business as they are DESPERATE for them.  Desperation itself tends to repel the very things we want and this is one of the areas that I touch on in my books.  It isn’t woo woo stuff either, if we focus on struggle, we feel it, we see it, and we get it, so a large part of creating personal power is in mastering the art of focus.

And focus in the right areas.

So, my suggestion is not to waste too much energy or time fighting LACK or the old, when we can harness the power in the NOW.  We can apply what we learn as we move forwards with a plan.  And for me the greatest ways of doing so is by focusing on our vision every day.

When we are open for greatness we can achieve GREATNESS.   So, I would also like to point out that – we can be great at anything and all of us could be a genius at something, yet society and teachers have often taught us to be limited or live conventional lives.  But that was never something I was going to buy into.

I believe that we are 
capable of being sculptors 
of our own lives regardless 
of of our pasts.

The power of focus

I used to jump on every so called opportunity that presented itself, THINKING that I was going to find that wealth and success from other people’s businesses, but it never really happened for me.

It was only once I got clear did things change.

Clarity got me a life or purpose. 

I really do not want for much as I can attain almost anything I desire at any time.  By the way, I am not that material, so when I say attain I mean travelling, exploring, and learning about the wonderful world we live in and having time to do so.  This is because i believe that time is the real thing we are buying.

So, this leads me to you; WHAT DO YOU REALLY WANT? I mean really?

People’s dreams are constantly being shattered and I have seen it so many times, all because they didn’t have the roadmap to help them get there, and personally I find it sad.

I have a heart and I do care about people, but like it ro not there is ALOT OF GREED OUT THERE and we must realise what is real from what isn’t.  You don’t need to buy into every product or business opportunity thinking that it is an answer, nope!  What you may be better off doing is FINDING YOUR REASON behind WHY YOU wish to be doing this.

The biggest problem with so many failing at this is TEMPTATION.

Many people simply give away their souls to whatever looks good and tempting.  They seek out instant gratification in so many ways, and they also do so with businesses.  They think that one can just PLUG INTO something such as a system or platform which will miraculously make them wealthy in weeks.

This is so very rare.

So, by all means do this if you think it will work, and let me know where you are in one year from now OR start a plan.  Figure out your passions.

I Have Many Passions

I love to play the drums, create wonderful music, to talk, to paint, to travel, to read books and to discover new things, so it wasn’t easy for me to get clarity initially, but that’s why i kept on.

The beautiful thing with following a passion to create revenue which can sustain you and your family for many years means that you can live life on your terms.

I fully understand that we all need to work, and we all need to earn money, and so, I would never suggest just quitting on anything ever, but I would recommend starting that plan which you can work on day by day and grow.

Luckily FOR YOU, YOU ARE HERE so you don’t need to go through as much as I did as today there is so much information to draw from that we just need to decide upon which avenue we will go down in order to start applying this information. 

One of the biggest stumbling blocks that people face when SEARCHING is that they get obstacles or setbacks and things can get tough – and when that happens they quit.

But do you think i knew all about business?

NO!

I had to apply what I could, and i got help in my weak areas. I hired others, outsourced and stuck to my focus in my role and what I could do.   We do not need to be experts at everything, and I think this creates way too much work, so we just have to define that core area and aim at being the best we can be at that.

So, in a way we can make our situations worse as it all comes down to our perception!

I wonder if you can see that?

WE PUSH OURSELVES FURTHER AWAY FROM WHAT WE WANT BY FEELING AND ACTING STUCK.

But if you can quiet the chatter in your mind and begin to imagine that YOU are writing this and it is you who is helping me, then you can imagine anything else. When you have a CLEAR AND FOCUSED GOAL, you have something which can drive you forward.

I ask you to do this because you have to know how it feels to do what you love.

 'GETTING INTO THE ZONE OF 
VISUALISING YOUR CHOSEN REALITY'.

You notice that I said chosen reality?

This is because you have to decide that you have chosen to follow something truly worthy of you.

And by doing so YOU WILL THEN OPEN UP YOUR MIND AND HEART TO EVEN GREATER CHOICES.

As we speak I have my dream apartment and car, I eat out all of the time, I travel WHEN EVER I LIKE TO, I have written 26 highly respected books, and I have my own online courses, my own business consulting business and top ranked Blog.  Not to mention a loyal following of readers and subscribers.

I also explore other possibilities being presented to me every day.

Most of all I have love, inner peace and happiness and feel very relaxed.

Isn’t that what we all want?
