Wouldn’t it be better to focus on being in shape rather than getting out of shape and then SAYING, OH NO I HATE BEING OUT OF SHAPE? 

See what I mean?

Now OK we are Human so we will let things go, forget our goals, and not work on what is most important.

Agreed?

Of course!  BUT, the key difference with PRO-ACTION and REACTION is pretty huge.

 

 

It is so easy to get caught up with the things that can stop us in our tracks and be affected by those things and by others bugging us when we are trying to work on what matters, but most of the time we can become distracted by MINOR and not that important things, so we must focus on the MAJOR tasks in ways where we can focus, have quiet and be totally in the zone.     

 

This is when you have to take stock of what is really important, what really matters.

So, what is that for you?

If you are being proactive in your en-devours then you know that you are going TO CREATE FROM THIS.  You will always be clearing up your messes.  It’s easy for us to do what is easy and that’s when we generally get stuck. We avoid what needs the most attention.

We will always face challenges when trying to do something different, and we will face certain obstacles, but we can keep moving knowing that ‘what we are doing’  is in the right area and direction.

In applying ourselves in those correct areas it gives us determination, confidence, clarity, belief and happiness and this happens because the moment we face what needs facing we begin toe change our level of ability.  We all have more ‘in us’ than most of us know, but it’s only by facing the truth of what needs attention do we then start seeing our true selves.    The selves which could always do more, face more and achieve more.

However – we tend to avoid what needs our attention the most don’t we.

It could be through a feeling of ‘non-love’ self doubt, fear, ignorance or improper guidance.  Whatever the cause the effect becomes stagnation. Procrastination and limitation.

So, I am sure you know what both is like!  I DO! 

If we are simply reacting or clearing up the mess of things all the time then we are just not creating the kind of future that is going to support us.  This is because we are simply not thinking about getting on with THE RIGHT things but rather just dealing with things as they arise and GO WRONG.

 

I have seen it a million times.  
In my own life and with my family 
and friends, so I know it's common 
as I also see it in my clients.

 

 

 

But, life doesn’t have to be that way when we can simply prepare for events and CRACK ON with it.  We don’t need to wait for JUST THE RIGHT TIME!  We need to get clear on what needs more attention and then act upon it. 

Once you begin to build momentum you can start to live and work in a certain way that supports your ACTION ORIENTATED WAYS.

Have you ever heard anyone say ‘Do something right or not at all!’

So, it is better to do something properly and right, or you had may as well not bother.  I used to get all these ideas and never finish what I started, so I noticed my weaknesses, I could create ideas sure, but what were they worth without giving each one 110% attention?

Only by me giving 110% and completing my tasks could I then see something through or not. I had to decide upon if something was worth my time or not, and in doing so, then let it go or finish it.   So, I applied this principle and my success rates skyrocketed.

 

Just by tweaking my own habits!

1) Try and notice your habits. What are you putting off or clearing up?

2) Take action when you don’t feel like it. Try and overrule the feelings!
3) Don’t allow yourself to give so much emotion to a small thing! Get over it.
4) Write things down. It is far easier to tackle things one at a time.
5) Be easy on yourself. The only person you are getting mad at IS YOU!
6) Don’t get so defensive about things. If you are confident you don’t have to argue the toss!
7) Face the truth and deal with it! Don’t bury it as it will come back and bite you in the butt!
8) FOCUS on what is important DON’T WASTE TIME INN THE WRONG AREAS

Action Taking: How many times in the past have you reacted to something in a kind of self defensive way?

This is really because you are un-sure if what you did was RIGHT and you probably didn’t prepare correctly!

So you are protecting yourself!  That’s OK, we all do it!

But, try to notice what you are trying to protect yourself from!

For a starters – you don’t need to protect yourself always – as we all make mistakes and secondly – you could be sabotaging yourself by trying to defend yourself.  You with me?

Look, if you don’t know something who cares, but then why try to defend your position?  I learn by dropping my ego and saying ‘I don’t understand please explain’!

You see, we can all learn more always, and we can all grow; the point is to get better and adjust.

Now, if you spend your whole life REACTING to everything through not learning then you will always suffer.

So, my suggestion which I actually had to learn the hard way was by getting a grip of my life and taking control.  Simply, I decided to be PROACTIVE.

I focused on the most important tasks I needed to focus upon.   And I made no more excuses.

I stopped reacting to life’s ups and downs and made a decision to become RESPONSIBLE and ACCOUNTABLE for my results.

Now, isn’t that way more empowering?

I think so!

 

So, DON’T PUT THINGS to one side ‘for now!’ OR THEY NEVER GET DONE!

“Prevention is better than Cure!” Ever heard that one?

It’s so true that – preventing situations and things happening is one sure way to step forward with the correct foot!  We can PREPARE FOR WHAT WE WANT THEN AVOID THE WRONG THINGS HAPPENING.

We PLAN and we PREPARE; whilst also knowing that things will go wrong sometimes.  That’s the key distinguishing factor.

We don’t avoid so we never feel pain,  we face knowing that we will feel pain as we get better. But we will get better.

YES, It is proven that fitness incorporated into our lives increases not only our happiness but our final age as well.   Its win win!

So how long do you want to live?

Not only that but, on a day to day basis exercise increases our ability to think as the body creates movement which in turn creates the right feel good serotonin and endorphins to aid the brain – which gives us a natural high which helps to be positive.

 

 

When we are positive we are far more likely to be ‘productive’ and when we are productive we are what?

TAKING BETTER MORE SPECIFIC ACTION! It is so simple really.

 

So, why not get out there and be proactive in your life, business, exercise and diet so that you become more productive in your personal and business life?    It will change everything I swear.

Action Taking: Learning to understand that being proactive is win-win is not always simple though!

 

If we feel down or stuck or just plain fed up with struggling or stress, we can start to feel low.  We tell the brain not to function as well so the brain does exactly that.

The more we get down the worse we feel, and the more we suffer, so we have to learn to change our thinking to support our goals.

It is like learning a new skill or a good habit.

 

Try replacing an old negative habit for a positive one and see what difference it makes in your life.

 

Action Taking ain’t rocket science!  This is simply about not getting overwhelmed with the crap or avoiding what matters, and preventing it happening in the first place.

I Live by action taking daily on the ‘right things’ and you can do this to change the future of your success and situations.

 

 

If you take anything from this short post take the fact that this post didn’t need to be long. It needed to get a point across.  So, now I have done that I can move on. I took action, on getting this complete so I could then work on other important tasks to help my life move forward at a satisfactory pace.
